February boasts our big annual event - an awards presentation given to four business women in the community and a panel discussion with our distinguished honorees ...

These awards are presented based upon outstanding community involvement, leadership in a specific industry, and continued support for women in business. Of the four recipients, three are from the community and the third is an NWE member. A portion of the proceeds from the event will be donated to a selected organization serving women.

Each year NWE honors Chicago Area women for their outstanding community involvement, leadership and continued support of women in business. Held at the Standard Club, the morning includes a silent auction and panel discussion with the award recipients. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to "Women in Need Growing Stronger (WINGS)" a program that helps homeless and abused women and children by offering integrated services that meet their needs for shelter, education, guidance and support.
